Mediator
Hon. Cheryl Moss (Ret.)
Sr. Judge Cheryl Moss served on the bench for 20 years. In 2022, Judge Moss was commissioned as a Senior District Court Judge in the Family Division. Judge Moss presided over trials and hearings spanning two decades. She has in-depth experience and knowledge of domestic relations cases. Judge Moss also presided over numerous settlement conferences and settled dozens of cases before trial. Judge Moss was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1997, the District of Columbia Bar in 1995, and the Maryland Bar in 1994.
Mediator
Jayne Hamm
Jayne began working as a volunteer mediator in one of the first community mediation programs in Massachusetts in 1985. She trained and served as an adoption mediator with Massachusetts Families for Kids while directing a Court Appointed Special Advocate program. After moving to Las Vegas in 2004 to work as a Management Analyst for the Department of Family Services, she served as a Divorce and Custody mediator for the Las Vegas Family Court for nine years. Since leaving the Family Court she has worked for the Nevada Department of Education as an IEP Mediator and for the Neighborhood Justice Center as an Eviction Mediator during the pandemic. Before receiving both her BS in Human Services at New Hampshire College and her MS in Human Services from Springfield College in Massachusetts, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration for twenty-seven (27) years.

Sara B. Pastore
Sara B. Pastore received an Associate’s Degree from TMCC in 2006 in Paralegal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate from NALA in 2007. She volunteered at Washoe County Law Library Family Self-Help notarizing and helping with family petitions and worked for various law firms and solo proprietors. In 2016 she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Nevada, Reno and also participated in a Mock Trial. After moving to Las Vegas, she completed an externship in the Family Court with Cheryl Moss in 2017. In the past few years she has worked on various state and federal assignments during COVID 19 and afterwards. She is excited to be working for Resolve Mediation NV. In her spare time she likes farmers markets, going to the theater and hiking.
